Working hours between Germany and India
IST is 4h30m ahead, or 3h30m during Central European Summer Time, from the last Sunday in March to the last Sunday in October. Agree an overlap window before work starts and keep it free for stand-ups and quick questions.
We use Slack, WhatsApp or email and hold regular calls; you speak directly to the developers doing the work. Written updates can cover progress, blockers and next steps, while handover notes capture unfinished work, open questions and decisions when the teams are rarely online together.

What your project in Germany has to handle
Private companies handling personal data need to plan how project access and transfers work. India has no EU adequacy decision, so where the work involves transferring personal data there, we agree appropriate safeguards in the contract, such as standard data protection clauses.
Where we act as your processor, we set up a processor contract. If further processors are used, we obtain your prior written or electronic approval for those subcontractors.
